Day 3: The Reason for the Season
This time a year is full TV commercials focusing on TOYS TOYS TOYS and wanting more and more. Sometimes the reason for the Christmas season is lost in stuff.
So, it is important for me to try my best to bring the true story of Christmas alive for my little one.
Here are some tools we are using to make this special story come alive:

We love books! These books are great for even the youngest of children.

Little People Nativity Set
We LOVE this set! It is created by Fisher Price and we got it at Mardel's last year. I saw a similar version at Walmart last year as well. If you push the angel on top, the star lights up and Away in a Manger plays. This set is great for re-creating the First Christmas and for learning the names of all the 'little people'.
Felt Set
