All kids love animals (especially the stuffed ones), so this Vet Clinic will most likely be hit with your little ones!
I set up our Vet Clinic last night and my little C was SO excited!
I used our play kitchen as a ‘wall’ and storage for the vet clinic. I have done this in the past and it works out really great.
In the photo above, you can see the back of our play kitchen. This is where the waiting rooms are and the sign in sheet.
Here is the inside of our vet clinic. I added a table for the children to ‘work’ on their animal. I also added a dog cage, clipboards with forms attached and doctor supplies, of course!
I have laminated the forms and we use Dry Erase Crayons. I love using Dry Erase crayons because they wipe off easily and are less smelly than dry erase markers.
I also created tags for our dogs and cats at our Vet Clinic to wear. These are included in the Pretend Play Vet Clinic Printables (see below). I printed the tags, cut them apart, punched a hole in them and attached them to a real collar with string (collar found at the dollar store). I also used stretchy headbands as collars and attached the tags with strings. This has worked out very well because the kids can slip the stretchy band over the stuffed animals head to use as a collar.

Adorable! Laminating is the way to go to keep materials looking fresh! This is a really clever idea. Thanks so much. Your pictures are great. How long did you spend on this theme?
ReplyDeleteI adore this! I need to think of a way I can modify this for my Firsties! =)
