We do a lot of painting during preschool time. The girls love creating masterpieces and love all the creativity and fine motor skill practice!
Here are some different ways we have painted this year:
Squeezing eye-droppers (we were creating rain drops) with watered down paint. Great fine motor!
Blowing paint with a straw. I used watercolors and dripped dots of paint on the paper, then the girls used thier wind power to make a neat painting!
Painting with feathers.
Painting with Q-tips.
Painting with a mixture of paint and shaving cream.
Painting with a marble. Place the paper, a drop of paint and a marble inside a box. Now, move the box back and forth and side to side.
Painting with yarn (very fun!).
Painting with colored ice cubes. Just add food coloring to water before freezing.
Or how about painting with your feet!!!

All those painting ideas sound fun! I will have to try the yarn painting with my daughter.
