Preschool Portfolios

I just sent home a Preschool Portfolio with each of my students.  I wanted parents to have some of thier children's work samples from preschool, along with some of the assessments that were completed.  They seemed to be a big hit with parents!

I used colored file folders (regular ones would work just fine!) and the 'My Preschool Portfolio' printable you can find below.  Just put each students name in the box and staple the printable to the file folder- voila!

My Preschool Portfolio

I filled the folders with assessments such as:

-Writing name assessment
-Cutting samples
-Writing numbers assessment
-Handwriting samples
-Misc. other assessments

I also included the 3rd Testing Period 'Report Card' (the last one of the year).  More information about assessments can be found here.

  1. Aww these are always a great thing to have! I've had 2 kids go through Pre-K so far and when they come home with these it's such a fun thing to have, like a mini scrapbook! Their teacher bound them like a notebook.

My kids still like to flip through them :)
