Sensory Table Fun!

We absolutely love our sand and water table. We got it at Target last year and it spent all summer outside housing both sand and water. Now that winter is approaching, I cleaned it up and brought it in! I plan on putting something new in each month.

Last month we played with what we called "Turkey Mix". Which is simply different kinds of beans, corn kernels and fake colorful feathers. Sorry I don't have a picture of the turkey mix to share!

Just recently I added red, green and white pom pons and colored jingle bells (all bought at Micheals). This is a BIG hit! My daughter just LOVES scooping up the mix and dumping it into other containers. What is great about the mix is that you can use it for sorting. She already has done some sorting by putting all the jingle bells in a pile. Color sorting would also be great! I am still planning my ideas for rest of the year, but I will share them when I have them!
